FC Birmingham came out with the intent to dominate the game early. After a mistake from VintoTinto’s goalkeeper, Maikanh Do Vilory, that lead to an indirect kick allowed FC Bham to get an early score. By halftime, Ryan Hepp scored 3 goals for FCB and gave them a comfortable lead going into the locker room. After a strong start from VinoTinto. FCB was able to absorb the surge and launched a surge of their own. FCB scored 5 goals in the second-half lead by Denilson Mercado two goals which one was assisted by Angel Avalos and the second goal was ripped well outside of the penalty box. Subs Jordan Walton and Angel Durate added goals to the scoreline.

FC Birmingham will take on UPSL 2020 National Champs, Atletico Atlanta, next Sunday at 4 PM at Lawson Field Stadium. The last time these two teams met in a preseason tournament in Murfreesboro, TN where Atletico won the head-to-head 1-0.
