FC Birmingham to Relaunch Its U23 Program

After a brief hiatus during the Spring season for strategic reassessment, FC Birmingham is excited to announce the relaunch of its U23 program. Recognizing the critical developmental phase between youth and adult semi-professional soccer, typically spanning ages 17 to 23, we have restructured this pivotal transitional team.

At this stage, players possess the physical capabilities honed over years of play. However, they begin to understand that success in the game requires more than just speed. Experience, strategy, and strength become integral. By integrating this program into our Academy as the Senior Academy team, FC Birmingham aims to prepare young talents for collegiate-level competition, progression to our first team, or even higher aspirations in professional soccer.

The U23 team will compete in the UPSL Division I (Georgia Conference), offering a competitive platform starting this Fall. We are eagerly anticipating the upcoming season and invite our community to join us in supporting the next generation of soccer stars.
